Three way system of teaching

1. Weekly Parties

Students gather to dance and socialize at Weekly Parties. Everyone has the opportunity to dance with a variety of partners, practice dances and patterns learned in private and class sessions, and above all, to enjoy dancing. This is for sure the most comfortable way to practice social dancing in Vancouver.

2. Private Lessons

On the Private Lesson, each student receives one-on-one specialized instruction. During the dance lesson, students learn movement, character of dance, and leading or following. The main focus however, ensures, that every student, beginner or advanced, experienced the "feeling and abandon" of good dancing.

All new students receive a complimentary private dance lesson that is fun and informal. New students may come singly or bring in a partner. The first dance lesson introduces simple rhythms and basic patterns. An instructor will explain our introductory course and provide informal information on all aspects of our teaching method.

3. Group Lessons

Group Classes provide even the busiest clients, an opportunity to practice patterns and timing, thereby acquiring the muscle memory essential to learning. You will develop good dance habits, and meet other students in our dance studio. In Group Classes we emphasize that you may be taught material that your regular instructor hasn't introduced to you yet. Additionally, material that has been already introduced will be reviewed and practiced for improvement.

All of these dance classes at each level are running on an ongoing basis and as a student you will progress to the higher levels as your skills develop.  Each program in the school includes all three types of classes and is personally designed for you based on your own personal goals.

This 3-way combination of individual attention, repetition and practice is particularly powerful, when applied with an overall integrated teaching approach and a team of experts who work together to build your new skills.
